Hello! My name is Amy.
I have long held a passion for the ocean which started from a young age rock pooling and catching crabs on holiday in England.
My curiosity about our oceans led me to study Marine and Freshwater Biology at university.
Since my studies I have volunteered my time in Scotland, Wales and Aotearoa – New Zealand, helping to protect marine mammals that inhabit the shores and waters of these countries.
I would love to share my passion for the ocean and marine mammals as a Marine Mammal Guide, educating people so they feel inspired to conserve and protect these magnificent creatures.
BSc Marine and Freshwater Biology – 2.1 – (U.K)
Certified Primary School Teacher – (U.K)
Marine Mammal Medic – BDMLR (U.K) – Project Jonah (N.Z.)
Comprehensive First Aid training – 09/23
I am seeking a Certified Marine Guide position with a WCA Responsible Whale and Dolphin Partner. With me I carry my WCA Training Record book which has all my training records and qualifications.
I would like to continue having tasks signed off in WCA Training Record Book while I work for a WCA Partner. This will allow me to continue my Career path with the WCA as a Responsible and Certified Marine Guide.
