Claire Oetinger

My name is Claire and for the last three years I have dedicated my career to connecting people to nature through education. I’ve had the privilege of learning in depth about the wildlife and culture of Hawaii and Southeast Alaska with a major focus on the North Pacific humpback whale. Prior to this I received my BS in marine biology at UCSC where I also worked in the Mehta lab researching moray eels. I look forward to using the skills I’ve developed as a naturalist to effectively learn and teach in the positions I take up in the future.
