I have always been driven towards the sea. Although I had never actually visited the sea until I was in my 20’s. I watched free Willy for the first time as a little girl and from that moment forward I was obsessed with killer whales. My obsession grew stronger, I became familiar with pods and even more, specific individuals in those pods. When I finally left where I grew up in Canada to see the ocean for the first time I knew the only place I could be truly happy was by the sea! After I got back home from this trip I knew I had to do something to get to where I wanted to be. So I enrolled into university for marine and fresh water biology. I spend all my spare time learning about specific seas that home these apex predators. Now here I am following my passion and to live my childhood dream a teach conservation to protect these beautiful creatures. I want to help make a change, in leading safe responsible whale watching.
