Ruben Van de Voorde is a Belgian entrepreneur and passionate marine guide from Mechelen, with a background in law and economics. A lifelong sailor and nature lover, he loves exploring colder regions like Scotland, Iceland, and Spitsbergen. Ruben brings the sea to life through rich storytelling, deep ecological knowledge, and a strong connection to the marine world. As an entrepreneur, he creates creative projects such as books and board games, including a game he designed about the North Sea. When he’s not on the water, he plays saxophone and explores the outdoors, inspiring others to connect with and protect our wild oceans.
