I am Vassilis Mathioudakis from Greece, a photographer and photojournalist with over 20 years of experience specializing in documentary, travel, and editorial storytelling. My work has been featured by major agencies such as the BBC, newspapers NEA, and Efimerida ton Syntakton, covering global assignments across South America (Bolivia, Chile), Europe, the Greek refugee crisis, and environmental activism. This chapter came to an end, so I decided to follow a new path and purpose. I worked for several years as a cook, and then I moved to the Norwegian Arctic to work in a fish factory for two seasons. During this time, my passion for cetaceans grew, inspiring me to study them. With a degree in Archaeology and History of Art from the University of Crete and 20 years of experience working in magazines and newspapers, I am very experienced at storytelling and socializing with people.
My perspective is sharp and ethical, and it is now combined with a Level 2 WCA certification.

I speak English very well.
